Transparency

All our books are open to you.

Every rupiah that comes in or goes out is recorded in the Public Cash Book with its receipt, and appears on this page once a second person has checked it.

Why does Daya Reforestasi Indonesia open its books to the public?

Living as a nation of many peoples has made Indonesians strong collaborators. To protect, encourage and strengthen that spirit of collaboration, Daya Reforestasi Indonesia is committed to making transparency its main foundation, and aims to be the first business in Indonesia to practise open-book “Radical Transparency”.

As a driver, facilitator and initiator of spaces for collaboration, we want the public and every contributor to be able to follow where our profit comes from and where it goes.

Methodology

How the data is collected, who checks it, and how often it is updated.

  • One row per transactionEvery payment in or out is recorded in the Public Cash Book (Google Sheets) with its date, receipt number, category, project and amount.
  • Evidence for every figureA photo of each receipt is stored in a shared folder and linked from its row.
  • Checked by a second personA transaction stays “awaiting verification” until someone other than the person who recorded it has matched the receipt and the amount. Only verified data appears here.
  • No personal data shownWages are recorded by role or group, never by a person’s name.
  • Always up to dateThis page reads the Public Cash Book every time it is opened, so the figures you see are the latest ones.
  • Interim bank accountUntil the company’s own bank account is opened, Dareindo’s cash is held in a BCA account in the founder’s name that is used only for the business. The transfer to the company account will also be recorded here.
  • Two layers of bookkeepingThe Public Cash Book runs alongside the company’s official accounts kept for tax purposes.
